Common questions
Before you enquire.
Our programmes are for children and young people with SEND in primary and secondary education. The exact age groups and entry arrangements can vary by event.
Events are standalone opportunities held in different locations across the UK at different times of the year. Availability depends on the programme, region and participating partners.
Yes. Participation is paid for by the school or organisation, but nothing is charged through this website. We discuss the event and provide clear pricing directly before any commitment is made.
The United Games is run on a non-profit basis. Participation income goes directly back into delivering and improving the events, including venues, equipment, staffing, medals, certificates, technology and the development of future opportunities for pupils.
Not necessarily. Programmes are intended to create meaningful opportunities across different levels of confidence and experience. We will explain the format so schools can select pupils appropriately.
Every participant receives a medal and certificate. Events may also include podium recognition and individual awards for qualities such as determination, progress, teamwork and sportsmanship.
